Men's soccer falls 2-0 at Elmhurst

ELMHURST, Ill. -- The men's soccer team opened 2017 against Elmhurst and was shut out 2-0 on Friday.

Greenville allowed two first half goals as they spent time defending an Elmhurst attack that produced 17 shots.  The Panthers tallied three shots in each half.

Adam Jones provided Greenville with two shots in just 46 minutes of action.

Edgar Bueno, David Yakim, and Christian Gomez each had a shot on goal.

Nick Holland had one save as Greenville's goalkeeper.

The Panthers (0-1) play at Moody Bible on Saturday.
