Men's soccer challenged against Millikin

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's soccer team squared off with Millikin in a match marked by fast-paced back-and-forth play and came out on the short end of a 2-0 final score.

Millikin took a 1-0 lead into halftime as they scored in the final minute of the first half.  In the second half, Millikin added a goal in the match's 55th minute.

Each team put five shots on goal in the contest, and Greenville goalkeeper Nick Holland collected three saves.

Greenville offered 11 shots in the contest.  David Yakim led Greenville with three shots, and Caleb Carpenter and Jonathan Moyo each had two shots.

The Panthers (2-3) will host Franklin on Saturday at 4 p.m.
