Men's soccer earns 14th win at Eureka

EUREKA, Ill. - The men's soccer team concluded their regular season with a 2-0 shutout win over Eureka on the road.

Greenville received a 12th minute goal from Adam Jones and a goal from Ruben Martinez in the 65th minute.

The Panthers dominated play, outshooting Eureka 26-4 in the match.

Jones recorded six shots in the match, and Edgar Bueno took five shots.  Greenville piled up 12 shots on goal.

Greenville goalkeeper Jesus Hernandez faced four shots and made one save in his first solo shutout of the year.

The Panthers (14-4-1, 6-2-1 SLIAC) will open postseason play on Thursday, Nov. 1, in a match to be announced.
