The NCCAA formally inducted Greenville University head men’s and women’s cross country and track and field coach Brian Patton into the organization’s Hall of Fame at a banquet on Thursday, May 30, in South Carolina.
The men’s track and field team received a third place finish from junior Jeremiah Davis in the finals of the 200 meter dash at the NCAA Division III national track and field outdoor championships on Saturday.
The men’s track and field team had three entries compete on day one of the NCAA Division III outdoor championships on Thursday in Geneva, Ohio. The Panthers saw Jeremiah Davis progress closer to an All-American award after his performance in the 200.
The NCCAA has announced that Greenville University head men's and women's cross country and track and field coach Brian Patton will be inducted into the NCCAA Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2019. He will be joined by Dr. Keith Connor (Southern Wesleyan University), Judy Fox (Ignite International), and Chet Kammerer (Grace College) with a formal induction at the NCCAA Hall of Fame Banquet on Thursday, May 30, at the NCCAA Annual Convention in Greenville, S.C.
The men’s track and field team opened their 2018-19 season by participating in the Illinois Wesleyan first chance meet. Greenville was paced by a winning performance by Jeremiah Davis in the 60 meter dash.
