Men's volleyball takes five-setter over Adrian

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The men's volleyball team grabbed a five-set win at Adrian on Saturday as they won the first two sets and dominated the final set for the win.

George Black gave Greenville a 16 point match as he tied Marc Gonzalez for the top points position on the squad.

Black came up with his 16 points on 14 kills and four block assists.  Gonzalez had a team-leading 15 kills and two block assists.

Kyle Ward added 15.5 points with 14 kills, a service ace, and a block assist.

Isaiah Canales posted five block assists, and Tanner Smith chipped in 11 digs and 55 set assists.

Greenville took the first two sets 25-21 and 25-22 before Adrian took the next two sets 25-22 and 25-15.  Greenville ended the match with a 15-5 tiebreaking set. 

The Panthers (6-1) return to action next Saturday at Augustana with matches against Benedictine and Augustana.
