Men's volleyball topped by Illinois Tech

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's volleyball team fell to Illinois Tech with a three-set loss on Friday at home.

The Panthers only mustered a .038 hitting percentage in the contest with 18 kills and 15 errors in 78 attempts.

George Black and Kyle Ward each led Greenville with five kills, and Tanner Smith posted 15 set assists.

Smith also led in digs with seven, followed by Logan Dameris with six.

Ward had a solo block and a block assist at the net.

Greenville had previously defeated Illinois Tech in five sets in the season's opening weekend.

The Panthers (9-14) host Concordia (WI) on Saturday at 1 p.m.
