DUBUQUE, Iowa - The men's volleyball team took the first set in Iowa at Loras but fell in four sets as they opened MCVL action.
The final score was 24-26, 25-23, 25-23, 25-21 in a tightly contested match.
Greenville opened with 10 kills/3 errors/27 attacks/.259 hitting percentage in the first set and came from 23-21 down to win the set.
The Panthers dropped to 11/6/28/.179 in the second set before bouncing back to 11/2/29/.429 in the third set. Greenville slipped to 12/4/29/.276 in the final set.
Nick Corrigan played a role in 16 GU points with 14 kills, one service ace, and one solo block.
George Black provided 12 kills in the match.
Tanner Smith led Greenville with 38 set assists, seven digs, and two service aces.
