Men’s volleyball drops four set match to NCAA Division III No. 8 North Central

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The men's volleyball team managed to take a set from North Central on Saturday afternoon, but the Panthers came up short 25-19, 25-16, 22-25, 25-15 in a match against the NCAA Division III's No. 8 ranked team.

Greenville was victimized by giving away 43 points as they had 28 attack errors and 15 service errors.

Overall, Greenville ended with a line of 38 kills/28 errors/117 attacks/.085 hitting percentage.

George Black came up with a line of 13/8/31/.161 to pace Greenville's attacking efforts.

Sam Coons helped the Panthers in a reserve role and hit 6/2/15/.267.

Defensive specialist Logan Dameris provided 10 digs to lead Greenville in the back row.

The Panthers (10-12, 0-4 MCVL) host Fontbonne on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in H.J. Long Gymnasium.
