Women's soccer falls 2-1 at Coe

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- The women's soccer team fell behind 2-0 in the first half, but a second half goal by Dani Pearce cut their deficit to one as the Lady Panthers dropped their game in Iowa 2-1.

Pearce's goal was assisted by Whitney Warner.

Pearce had five shots on the afternoon.  Liz Pisarek tallied two shots.

Goalkeeper Hope Brakenhoff provided four saves in the first half.

Goalkeeper Lourdes Machado blanked Coe with two saves in the second half.

Greenville (2-4) travels to Wisconsin to play Marantha Baptist on Saturday.
