Women's soccer routs Lincoln Christian

LINCOLN, Ill. – The women's soccer team evened their season record at 4-4 with a 6-0 win at Lincoln Christian on Thursday.

After finishing the first half with just a one goal advantage, Greenville slipped five goals past Lincoln Christian in the second half.

Dani Pearce and Breanna Thomas led Greenville's offensive production as each had one goal and two assists.

Other Panther goals were added by Jamie Schollenbruch, Caitlin McLoughlin, Natty Hepburn, and Christina Bowman.

Goalkeeper Sam Barnhart collected the shutout in goal.

Greenville took 56 shots in the game, including 29 on goal.

The Lady Panthers host Webster on Saturday at 5 p.m.
