GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's soccer team battled Webster and even took a 1-0 lead into halftime before allowing two second half goals in their 2-1 defeat.
The Panthers Jamie Schollenbruch opened the scoring for Greenville as she put the ball in the net to give Greenville an early 1-0 lead.
Greenville held the lead until the second half when Webster produced goals in the 61st and 66th minutes.
The Panther defense faced 12 shots in the game with goalkeeper Hope Brakenhoff coming up with six saves.
Greenville (4-5, 0-1 SLIAC) hosts Illinois College on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
