The women's tennis team came up just short on Saturday's SLIAC championship match against Principia. Greenville led 2-1 after doubles play, but Principia took four of the six singles matches for the conference championship.
The women's tennis team moved one step closer to their first SLIAC regular season championship with a 7-2 win over Westminster on Tuesday in Greenville. The Panthers won two of three doubles matches and followed with wins in five of six singles matches to collect their 10 win of the year and move to 4-0 in SLIAC play.
The women's tennis team clinched a winning record for the second straight season with a 9-0 sweep over Fontbonne on Monday night. Greenville improved to 9-5 (3-0 SLIAC) and will go into Tuesday's match against Westminster in search of the number one seed in the SLIAC tournament.
This is an exciting time for GU Women’s tennis! The Lady Panthers return a strong core from the 2018 squad that was made up entirely of underclassmen. Armed with experience, and even more determination, they are eager for the spring season to get underway!
