Women's cross country competes at Illinois Wesleyan

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- The women's cross country team competed at Ilinois Wesleyan on Friday in their first meet of the season and used it as an opportunity to test themselves against outside competition.

Kori Nesbit finished as Greenville's top runner with a time of 13:20 in a 25th place effort.

Shirley Estes came along four seconds later in 27th place, and Jordie File completed the race in 13:39 to finish 35th overall.

The Panthers return to the course on Saturday, Sept. 15 at Wheaton.
