Men's soccer fails to break through in scoreless draw with Eureka

EUREKA, Ill. -- The men's soccer team dominated the game offensively, but they were unable to muster a goal as they tied Eureka 0-0 in double overtime.

Greenville took 39 shots in the contest, compared to just six from Eureka.

Jon Adams had a season high nine shots for Greenville.

Edgar Bueno produced eight shots, and Caleb Mulholland had six shots.

Bueno, Mulholland, and Adams all put two shots on goal.

Nick Holland and Michael Gonzalez shared the shutout.  Holland worked 65 minutes and collected one save

The Panthers (5-8-5, 2-3-3 SLIAC) host Blackburn on Saturday at 7 p.m.
