    The softball team suffered a pair of losses at Central College in Iowa on Thursday afternoon. Greenville lost a shortened game 10-2 in game one, and Central picked up a walk-off 3-2 win in game two.

    The softball team played Washington-St. Louis in one of the two originally scheduled Tuesday games and lost 8-3.

    The softball team returned to action in their first home doubleheader since March 8 and split a pair of games against Fontbonne.  Greenville dropped the first game 11-8 before coming back and taking game two by a 3-2 final score.

    The softball team recorded a doubleheader sweep over Rose-Hulman on Saturday to give head coach Angela Sheets her first collegiate coaching victories.

    The softball team scheduled a doubleheader in Iowa earlier in the week and played Dubuque on Friday. The Panthers lost game one 9-0 and game two 5-0.
  • Softball drops a pair to Buena Vista

    The softball team played at home for the first time since April 23, 2019, and dropped a pair of decisions to Buena Vista. The Panthers fell 4-2 in the first game and 6-2 in the finale.

    The softball team started their 2021 season with a pair of losses to DePauw at a neutral site doubleheader on the campus of Millikin.  Greenville lost the first game 14-0 in five innings before a 15-5 loss in five innings of game two.
  • Angela Sheets named head softball coach
    June 17, 2020
    The Greenville University Athletic Department has announced the hiring of Angela Sheets of Peoria, Ill., as its new head softball coach.  Sheets assumes the position vacated by Buddy Foster who accepted a position at Mississippi University for Women as its head softball coach following four years at Greenville.
